PSY280 : Biological Psychology (at City University London)
Description:
Historical approaches to the relations between brain and behaviour; current issues in biological psychology; basic neurobiology; functional organisation of the brain; development of the nervous system; neurophysiological basis of perception, emotion, memory, reproductive behaviours, and learning and reward.
Prereq: PSY 205 (Foundations of Human Behavior) or an equivalent introduction to psychology course and 3.0 minimum cum GPA; fulfills requirements for
PSY 223 (Introduction to Bio-psychology). Taught at City University; NOTE:City U. has a different academic calendar, which has no mid-term break, and its time schedule is provisional until just before City U. classes start (late September in Fall; late January in Spring).
