PHO204.2 : Introduction to Photography
Description:
Introduction to camera handling, functions and controls. Principles of composition, development and printing. No photography background necessary and not open to students who have previously taken an introductory photography course. There is a lab fee billed from Syracuse (2009-10 fee = $150).
Enrollment priority given to Design Program students and to others whom this course fulfills a degree requirement and who list this course among the first five courses on their SU Abroad course request form and on their application form. Students are encouraged to bring either a single lens reflex (SLR) film or digital camera, however a good 10 megapixel compact "point and shoot" camera is acceptable.
