PSY400.2 : Social Psychology of Conflict and Cooperation
Description:
Conflict and co-operation is at the heart of all interaction, from interpersonal, through group dynamics to global politics. This course explores the intricacies of conflict and co-operation on many levels, but always grounded in social psychological theories on interaction, group formation, attribution and attitude. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their study abroad experience by focusing on the European perspective on conflict and co-operation, through both classroom resources and self directed research and enquiry. Students may also learn some crucial lessons about themselves.
Prereq: PSY 205 or 209 or equivalent intro psychology course required; PSY 274 or equivalent social psychology course strongly recommended.
