PRT251 : Intro Printmaking: Intaglio
Description:
Methods used in making intaglio prints. Demonstrated techniques: etching, drypoint, aquatint, and a variety of experimental approaches to plate-making and printing. A course fee will be billed from Syracuse for studio supplies, site visits in Florence and day trips to Pistoia and Bologna (Spring 2010 fee = $245). Fall semester students will also travel to Venice for the Biennale with an additional fee of $130 billed from Syracuse. Limited enrollment, with preference given to students admitted to Studio Art Program.
