What You Need to Know
London’s resources are vast, from the arts to business and finance, to the media. With over 30 years experience, SU London is prepared to help you take full advantage of London’s rich opportunities.
Our breadth of curriculum is considerable: over 70 courses, with every SU professional school represented, including Architecture. Course work is offered in Public Communications (including advertising, journalism, photojournalism, public relations, television), Management, Drama, Speech Communication, Social Work, Information Studies, Engineering, and Human Development (including child and family studies and retailing). Arts and Sciences classes include fine arts, political science, and women's studies, and we also offer Honors and Graduate programs.
You can also choose from specialized pre-professional programs like Design, Music Industry, Drama (at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre) and Photojournalism.
Cultural Engagement
Expect to be deeply immersed in both your studies and the host culture. Your exposure to the challenges of global citizenship will be highlighted through four academic clusters: London as Global, Multicultural City; Engaging the World; Comparative and International Perspectives; and Britain and Europe.
In addition, field study and site visits within London are integral to many of the academic programs. Our multi-cultural support staff also arranges and promotes a wide range of fascinating trips and walks, including our popular Jill Curran Program.
Internships and Service Learning
You can also consider supplementing your academic program with a wide variety of internships, plus service learning and volunteer opportunities.
The Campus
Situated "mid-town", between the West End and the City, Faraday House is on the edge of the Bloomsbury area, London's university quarter. The features of our brand new facility are augmented by the University of London, including first-rate academic library and subsidized student union facilities – gym, pool and meal options.
